The only stuff I'm reading on a regular basis at the moment, is IDW's Transformers stuff. I really like where they're taking it.
I used to be a big collector of the X-titles a few years back (a decent chunk of the 90s), but I had to give up when my newsagent couldn't stock them anymore and I didn't have a comic shop near enough.
Later on I found a new supplier, but my comic-buying was necessarily a lot more sporadic (most of the Dreamwave Transformers work I waited for the TPBs).

I have subscriptions to Legion of Super-heros and Teen Titans. I've put subs for JLA, JSA, and Avengers on my Christmas list, but I'm not holding my breath. _________________ Most Casualties Stemfest '07

I have my comics sent from my old comic store in Oregon to Norway (the advantages of having gone to school with one's comic shop owner).
The imports: 100 Bullets, Hellblazer, Fables, Books of Magic (the wife made me keep getting it even after i just wanted to round file it ). Most of DC vertigo is at least worth a try for me as long as it's not trying to look up it's own posterior
My all time favorites are both no more: Seeker's into the Mystery (too depressing for most people) and Poison Elves (Drew Hayes died). But then again, there is pretty much no such thing as a neutral poison elves fan. Either you would have done battle for the man, or thought that his comic fandom was excessively n@thuggery. |

I have a First Printing Hardback edition of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbon's Watchmen. I believe it was first published 1988. It is in excellent/near mint condition. It has been out of the protective sleeve a handful of times since I've owned it and also in a protective cardboard box.
I also have a limited edition, signed and numbered 1811 of 2000, portfolio of 12 Watchmen prints from 1987/88. Sadly these are only in good condition due to being kept in the loft and getting a bit dusty.
With the credit crunch in full sway and the imminent release of the Movie, I was thinking of putting them on Ebay.
Do any of you Comic Buffs have any idea as to their value? |

I checked an oop online bookstore called Abebooks.com didn't really come up with anything.
Just a suggestion...you may want to wait until after the movie opens. If it is a huge hit your auction could go for much higher. Saw it happen with a friend's listing of the Millenium editions of the Lord of the Rings...
