I'm currently working on an undead fantasy football team with an Egyptian theme, using miniatures from various manufacturers. For the ghouls I'm using Impact Anubis models.

I really like the sculpts, but in order to get four different models for the team from the two available models I did some conversion work. Here's one - head from the Anubis thrower, body from a Crocodile games ghoul and a fair bit of modelling puttty (Procreate, also from Impact).

There's an article on the rest of team in the library section of the NAF website for anyone who's interested:

Looks like he's taking a painful dump!!

Seriously though, nice work with the sculpting.

Yeah, that occurred to me too!

I was originally going to alter the mouth to make it look like he was howling, but decided against it in the end.

maybe the pose of the arms is a bit un-natural - why not lean him forward and plant one fist on the turf in a tri-point stance??

Hmm, I'm pretty happy with the pose at it is. Anyway, I've started painting him now so it's too late
