Metallica "Death Magnetic". It's not bad, but the songs are all far too long.
Just bought Lamb of God's "Wrath", because the one track I heard from it was very cool and it's had great reviews. |

I really like the new Lamb of God album.
Gave up on Death Magnetic after 4 listens maybe... Didn't like it much TBH.
Right now I am mostly listening to Korpiklaani. Finnish folk metal \m/ _________________ Purdindas |

Korpiklanni is great stuff.
Garmarna has some decent stuff, too, but they also get way too slow for my taste. _________________ Why not visit the Zlurpee Bowl website?

Had time to listen to "Wrath" on the train to Pearlies day 2.
It's going to take a while to get to know it...but it is AWESOME.
I've also liked everything I have heard by Korpiklaani.
Also looking to buy "Gabriel" by Believer. One of the best and most adventurous thrash bands of the early 90s have reunited and produced a new album :) |

Steel Panther - Feel the Steel
Okay, it's purile, silly, rude, sweary, and obsessed with hanky panky, but it's funny purile, silly, rude, sweary, and obsessed with hanky panky!
And lets be fair here, this rocks
Actually, it ROCKS
...also
Theory of a deadman - Scars and souvenirs
Slayer - Seasons in the abyss & reign in blood
Bolt thrower - War master...
... but mainly Steel Panther _________________ Officially rubbish at all fantasy football games |

Just now:
Lamb of God "Wrath". (Still. Everybody who likes Metal MUST own this album.)
Lacuna Coil "Shallow life" (Metal Hammer's review was a load of cobblers. LC same as they always have been.)
Believer "Gabriel" (I got it and it's great.)
Rocky Horror show soundtrack (because I got "Science fiction double feature" stuck in my head for some reason and therefore had to listen to the whole thing.) |

| The 'Metal detector' article in the latest Metal Hammer gave me the urge to break out the stuff I have by gloomy northerners Paradise Lost. |
