G'day guys,

I was just wondering if anyone had converted or painted up their own NBN team?

I'm painting up some of Rolljordan's Frogs for a Kermitian team and I thought we could use this thread to map the progress of anyone's WIP teams.

Cheers,
Ben.

Hi,

No teams as yet, but I started backwards and am making a half-court board and net.

Once I take and upload some piccies, I'll give em their own post.

Cheers,

Nestyr

Sounds cool. I would love to see the half court when you're done.
What sort of materials are you using?
I'm in the process of making my own Elfball court (and another NBN halfcourt) and am using spare Heroscape tiles and then basing them like my minis. I'll upload pics when I'm further along, but its an easy way to get the hex shape. ;)

Cheers,
Ben.

Hey Ben,

I considered using Heroscape tiles, but they don't come in half tiles, so I decided against it...

New post on it's way.

Cheers,

Jeff

I have always felt that NBN lacks Zombies.

I had some bits left lying around and had a go at putting some together. I have one left to paint up for a team of 5.

Dave, they look fantastic mate! Great work, thanks for posting!

I may just have to write some rules for Zombies ;)

Ben.

I'm looking to do a Beastman team, with Fez Wingley as a centrepeice.

Still at planning Stage, which what base models I will use, but I hope to have team team at least at "this is what I will use" model wise by the time I get the rule book.

Sounds cool. Eureka have a great model that I've used for Fez Wingly. For the rest of the team you could use Impact's Siringit (which is what I was doing).

I'll try and get a photo up of Fez in the next day or so.

Eureka have some very cool mini, such as the Teddy bears and such. Nothing on the impact ones of course

On a seperate topic, Have you got any other info other than from your Blog and on the purchaseable Rulebook? Like any match reports and such? I'm curious to know more about the game, before I pay to get the book shipped down under.

I want to get to know the game well, and see if i can organise the first Aussie NBN League/Tourney :)

Hey! An NBN League, that would be great.
I will try and get a match report up on my blog over the weekend. Hopefully it will give you a feel for the game.
Cheers,
Ben.

Speaking of which, are there rules for a League?

There are very basic guidelines in the main book, but in the free expansions I released you can find all sorts of things to help run a league:

*Earning Money
*Popularity
*Improving players
*Special Abilities
*Hiring Staff
*Home Court Advantage
*Legendary Players

You can download them from my blog and Board Game Geek at the moment.

Download them and have a flick through and see what you think. Whenever I play I include most of the rules included in these booklets.
Hope that helps,
Ben.
